Green Hills Homes for Sale: 1113 Glenwood Avenue, a New Brick Tudor with an Elevator Near Lipscomb
Jason Gruner, REALTOR, Coldwell Banker Southern Realty

1113 Glenwood Avenue is one of the newest Green Hills homes for sale: a brick Tudor style house with 6,618 square feet, five bedrooms, five full baths and two half baths, listed at $3,950,000. It sits on 0.4 acres in the Park View subdivision, in what the listing calls the Lipscomb area of Green Hills, and it came on the market September 22, 2026. What caught my eye was how much of the design is about daily ease: an elevator, two staircases, underground power, and a scullery, all in a house that was designed to fit in with the established homes around it. I'm Jason Gruner with Coldwell Banker Southern Realty, and I follow every Green Hills Nashville listing. This is one I would want to see in person.

Inside the home
The kitchen is the center of the main level. A 13 foot marble topped island runs down the middle, with custom cabinetry, paneled Sub Zero refrigeration, and Wolf appliances around it, plus built in banquette seating. The scullery works as a second kitchen with a beverage fridge, its own dishwasher, a Wolf oven, and a water bottle filling station, so the prep work can stay out of sight when people are over.

A few steps up from the kitchen, the living room has a wood burning fireplace with a gas starter, set in a Venetian plaster surround with custom cabinetry and wood paneling trim. That room opens to a screened porch with built in heaters. Ceilings are 10 feet on the main level and 9 feet upstairs.
The primary suite gets a lot of natural light, has a vaulted ceiling, and opens to its own stone patio. The primary closet is large, with a marble topped island, cabinet fronts ready for a full size washer and dryer and hidden storage built into the paneling for valuables. Every bedroom in the house has its own bath and a walk in closet.

Upstairs are three of the five bedrooms, a bonus room, a flex room that could work for fitness or a second office, a laundry room, and a reading nook with built in storage. On a walkthrough, I would still ask for the builder warranty in writing and bring your own inspector, even on new construction.
Outdoor space and the lot
Outside, the listing points to landscape design, stone work, and an irrigation and lighting system. The screened porch off the living room and the stone patio off the primary suite give the back of the house two different places to sit outside, and the rear lawn is wide and open. Power to the house runs underground, one of the details the listing calls out.

The lot is 0.4 acres by the tax record, about 100 by 176 feet. Out front, steps lead up to an arched front door, and the driveway runs back to the 3 car garage, which has an EV connection. Inside, a mudroom has cubbies and plenty of storage.
Why Glenwood Avenue works in Green Hills
Glenwood Avenue Nashville is a short residential street in ZIP code 37204. Its west end meets Granny White Pike, and the Lipscomb University campus sits just to the north. My Green Hills search covers homes in both the 37215 and 37204 ZIP codes, and this part of the neighborhood is often called the Lipscomb area. The listing describes Glenwood as a quiet street with no cut through traffic and says the house was designed to fit in with the homes around it. Hillsboro Pike, The Mall at Green Hills, and Hill Center Green Hills are to the west. I will not guess at drive or walk times, so I map the route with you when we tour. What I like about this stretch is a new house on a settled street with Granny White Pike close by.
Living in Green Hills, one of Nashville's best neighborhoods
I describe Green Hills as the Hillsboro Pike corridor and the residential streets around it, with Interstate 440 to the north and Harding Place to the south. On the east side, Lipscomb University is a landmark with a long history. David Lipscomb and James A. Harding opened it on October 5, 1891, in a rented house downtown, and in 1903 it moved to land along Granny White Pike that David and Margaret Lipscomb gave as a permanent campus. It has been there ever since. For green space, Green Hills Park is inside the neighborhood, and the Warner Parks are southwest of Green Hills. Metro Nashville Parks says Percy Warner Park and Edwin Warner Park together span more than 3,100 acres of forest and field. Around those anchors, Green Hills mixes older brick homes, midcentury houses, and new construction like this one. When people ask me about the best Nashville neighborhoods, Green Hills comes up because quiet streets sit close to Hillsboro Pike shopping and dining. Hours and offerings change, so check before you go.

The Green Hills market right now
As of October 7, 2026, my Realtracs "Green Hills Single Family" search shows 116 homes for sale and 31 under contract (22 still taking showings and 9 not). Over the last three months, 83 homes closed. Those sales averaged $2,025,842, with a median of $1,850,000, and spent an average of 26 days on market. Under contract means a buyer and seller have signed an agreement but the sale has not closed yet. These numbers move weekly, so treat them as a snapshot, not a forecast.
