2313 Warfield Lane is one of the Green Hills homes for sale that I keep coming back to, and it is still active as of October 30: a 2015 all brick contemporary with about 5,500 square feet, four bedrooms, five full baths and one half bath, listed at $2,550,000. It sits on 0.49 acres on Warfield Lane, a short street on the west side of Hillsboro Pike in Green Hills Nashville, the same street as 2301 Warfield Lane, which I wrote about in early October. I'm Jason Gruner with Coldwell Banker Southern Realty, and I follow every Green Hills Nashville listing. What caught my eye is the pairing the listing leans on: a half acre lot with a deep back lawn, on a street the listing describes as close enough to walk to Hill Center, the YMCA, and Whole Foods.

The kitchen is 18 by 12 with a stone island and counter seating, dark wood cabinetry, a pantry, and a 16 by 10 breakfast room beside it, plus a 14 by 14 formal dining room. The listing calls out Thermador appliances, a Sub Zero refrigerator, and a convection oven. A small 8 by 7 office, a 15 by 14 hobby room, a wet bar, and built in bookcases round out the main living areas, and Realtracs counts four fireplaces in the house.

All four bedrooms are on the second floor. The primary bedroom is 16 by 18 with an extra large closet, and its bath is set up as a suite with a separate shower and tub. Realtracs shows a bath with each of the other three bedrooms, four full baths upstairs in all, plus a 25 by 20 recreation room on the same floor. It also lists 592 square feet on a third level, where the half bath sits, and the listing mentions more space above the garage. Floors are finished wood and tile. I still walk every room with you on a tour and confirm what conveys with the sale.

Outdoor space and the lot

The lot is 83 feet wide and 260 feet deep, 0.49 acres per the tax record. Out back, a covered porch with a wood ceiling holds a built in gas grill set in painted brick, and it looks across a wide back lawn to the detached three car garage. Realtracs also lists a covered patio, a porch, a balcony, and irrigation.

There is no pool today. The listing describes the backyard as room to entertain, garden, or plan a future pool, so if a pool matters to you, we would confirm what Metro allows before counting on it. Out front, the house shows white painted brick, deep eaves, and a covered front porch above a planted lawn.

Why Warfield Lane works in Green Hills

Warfield Lane Nashville is a short residential street in Green Hills Nashville TN 37215, on the west side of Hillsboro Pike, running between Cross Creek Road and Caylor Drive. Just to the east are Hill Center Green Hills and the Whole Foods Market at 4021 Hillsboro Pike, and The Mall at Green Hills sits a little north of Hill Center on the same road. The listing describes walking to dinner, the YMCA, and Whole Foods from the front door. That is the main reason this street stands out to me, and it is why I have now written about two homes on it. Green Hills is not its own city. Homes here carry a Nashville mailing address and sit in ZIP code 37215, along the Hillsboro Pike corridor south of Interstate 440. That corridor is where you find The Mall at Green Hills and Hill Center Green Hills, and the residential streets branch east and west from there. New construction and older brick houses share the same blocks, which is a pattern I see across Green Hills Nashville TN 37215. For green space inside the neighborhood, Green Hills Park is the local park many buyers ask about first. Farther south, Radnor Lake State Park sits at 1160 Otter Creek Road with trails and a visitor center. When people ask me about the best Nashville neighborhoods, Green Hills comes up because everyday shopping sits next to quieter residential streets. Hours and rules change, so check before you go.
