4118 Eden Avenue is one of the Green Hills homes for sale that stood out on my weekly pull: a brand new 2026 home with 4,476 square feet, five bedrooms, four full baths and two half baths, listed at $2,695,000. It sits on the corner of Eden Avenue and Shackleford Road in Green Hills Nashville TN 37215. I'm Jason Gruner with Coldwell Banker Southern Realty, and I follow every Green Hills Nashville listing. What caught my eye is that the pool is already in and finished, with its own half bath, so a buyer skips the wait for a pool contractor. The listing came back on the market on October 22 under a new MLS number, at the same price.

The listing credits P Shea for the design, Mekenna Brook for the interior design, and Carleton Wise Construction for the build. The main floor runs about 2,401 square feet, per the room totals. The great room is about 18 by 22 feet, and the kitchen is about 14 by 22 feet with a large island. A formal dining room of about 15 by 16 feet sits off the main living space. The kitchen is equipped with a built in gas range, a built in electric oven and a double oven, a dishwasher, a microwave, a refrigerator and a freezer. The floors are finished wood and tile, per the listing.

The primary suite is on the main level, about 15 by 17 feet, and its bath has a separate shower and tub along with double vanities. The main floor also has two half baths, one of them serving the pool. Upstairs, about 2,075 square feet holds the other four bedrooms, running from about 13 by 14 to 15 by 15 feet, each with a bath, plus a rec room of about 18 by 22 feet. The listing notes this is a single family home on its own lot, not a horizontal property regime, which matters to buyers who want a detached home on its own lot. I still walk every room with you on a tour and confirm what conveys with the sale.

Outdoor space and the lot

Out back, the pool is complete and sits beside the house, and the second half bath on the main floor serves as the pool bath. The listing makes the point that a buyer here can skip the long wait for a pool contractor and use it next summer. The lot is 0.26 acres, about 73 by 150 feet per the tax record.

Out front, the house shows a white two story exterior with arched windows, a covered front entry, and a front lawn with new plantings. The exterior is hardboard with partial brick. Because it sits on a corner, the driveway comes in from the side to the detached two car garage.

Why Eden Avenue works in Green Hills

Eden Avenue Nashville is a residential street in Green Hills Nashville TN 37215, and this house sits where it meets Shackleford Road. The directions in the listing come south on Belmont Boulevard, then right on Shackleford Road and right on Eden Avenue. The listing also says there are sidewalks to both Green Hills and Lipscomb. For everyday errands, Hillsboro Pike is the main road through Green Hills, with The Mall at Green Hills and Hill Center Green Hills along it. I will not invent walk or drive times from this door, so I map the route with you when we tour.

Living in Green Hills, one of Nashville's best neighborhoods

I describe Green Hills as the Hillsboro Pike corridor and the residential streets around it, with Interstate 440 to the north and Harding Place to the south. On the east side, Lipscomb University is a landmark with a long history. David Lipscomb and James A. Harding opened it on October 5, 1891, in a rented house downtown, and in 1903 it moved to land along Granny White Pike that David and Margaret Lipscomb gave as a permanent campus. It has been there ever since. For green space, Green Hills Park is inside the neighborhood, and the Warner Parks are southwest of Green Hills. Metro Nashville Parks says Percy Warner Park and Edwin Warner Park together span more than 3,100 acres of forest and field. Around those anchors, Green Hills mixes older brick homes, midcentury houses, and newer custom homes like this one. When people ask me about the best Nashville neighborhoods, Green Hills comes up because quiet streets sit close to Hillsboro Pike shopping and dining. Hours and offerings change, so check before you go.
